Keyser, WV- Peyton Blue's run scoring double in the bottom of the 10th inning finished another feverous comeback for Potomac State as they defeated Garrett College 10-9 Wednesday afternoon at Golden Park.

Potomac State has made a habit of late-game resilience, stringing together a series of comeback wins against Eastern Mennonite, Allegany College of Maryland, and now Garrett.

Wednesday's game moved through five quiet innings before the game finally cracked open in the sixth. Garrett broke the scoreless tie when Sebastian Mayfield came around to score on a ground ball double play off the bat of Conner Blake, giving the visitors a 1–0 lead.

Potomac State's starter Gavin Bennett was in command for 6 2/3 innings, striking out five and allowing just that lone run.

The Catamounts answered immediately in the bottom of the seventh. Dylan Rice, who had walked, crossed the plate on Seth Healy's RBI double to tie the game.

Lex Wescott then delivered a sharp single that brought home both Healy and Braden Sloan, flipping the score to 3–1.

In the eighth, Garrett started a relentless rally. The inning began with traffic on the bases as Brandon Metivier and Matthew Firestone each drew RBI walks to tie the game. Grayden Gillott broke it open with a bases-clearing triple, followed by RBI hits from Nick Suitte and Bryce Madden, and a sacrifice fly from Noah Broadwater. By the time the inning ended, Garrett had scored eight runs and surged ahead 9–3.

In the bottom of the eighth Peyton Blue launched a solo home run, cutting the deficit to 9–4.

Out of the bullpen, Evan Swain stabilized the game with a clean ninth inning, striking out two.

Trailing 9-4 in the bottom of the ninth Lex Wescott and John Mallow worked their way on base to start the inning, and Jaxon Drennen followed to load the bases.

After a strikeout, Callen Miller worked a full count before drawing a bases-loaded walk—Mallow crossed the plate, and the deficit shrank to 9–5.

Evan Swain was then struck by a pitch, forcing home another run making it 9-6.

Seth Healy followed and continued the trend—another disciplined at-bat ended in a walk, bringing home Jaxon Drennen tightening the score to 9–7.

Braden Sloan then delivered the first swing of the inning that put the ball in play with an infield single to score Callen Miller making the score 9–8.

With the bases still loaded, Tate Musko stepped in and put the ball on the ground sharply to third base. Garrett recorded the out at third, but pinch-runner Josh Patrick crossed the plate, tying the game at 9–9.

Noah Durance followed in the tenth with a composed frame, working around a baserunner to keep the game tied and earn the opportunity for a walk-off.

In the bottom of the tenth, the comeback found its final chapter.

Jaxon Drennen grounded a single through the left side of the infield to set the table for Blue, who delivered again—this time driving a double into the gap to bring home the winning run.
