In the men's 8,000-meter race, Potomac State battled closely with Hagerstown Community College, ultimately finishing second in the team standings with 30 points, just behind Hagerstown's 25.

Freshman LJ Sealey led the Catamounts with a third-place finish, clocking in at 32:33.9. He was followed closely by Dylan Poston (4th, 32:36.0) and William Boddy (6th, 33:31.6), both of whom helped anchor the team's scoring effort. Sophomore Logan Hetrick (8th, 34:19.6) and freshman Richard Hudson (9th, 34:24.7) rounded out the top five for Potomac State.

The depth of the squad was evident, with seven Catamounts finishing in the top 14, including Sebastian Sharp and Emmett Slayman, showcasing the program's growth and potential in its early stages.

The women's team stole the spotlight, sweeping the top four spots and earning a perfect score of 15 points to claim the Catamount Classic team title.

Freshman Cassidy Cumberledge led the charge with a first-place finish in 27:36.0, followed by teammates Teagan Huff (2nd, 28:05.4), Phoebe McCann-Weaver (3rd, 30:18.6), and Baylee Jarrett (4th, 30:23.0).
